Mr. Robert Stewart,75, of McKenzie passed away Sat., Jan. 4, 2020, in an Evergreen hospital.

Funeral services were held at 1PM, Tues., Jan., 7, 2020, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family received friends at Keahey Chapel one hour prior to services. Rev. Helen P. Grissett and Rev. Shaphan Helms officiated the service.

Interment  followed in Stone Lake Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers were Austin Darby, Brad Archie, Heath Stewart, Dakota Stewart Blake Chance, Brandon Chance and Ramsey Stewart.

He is survived by his son, Larry Eugene (Tracey) Stewart of Brewton; a daughter, Cynthia (Don) Darby of Castleberry; a stepson, Ricky (Carol) Carpenter of Clayton, Ala.; stepdaughters, Debra Reddish of Gantt and Carolyn King of Red Level; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Stewart; stepdaughters, Sylvia Leverington, Dinah Cook, and Lynda Dozier.

Mr. Stewart was a member of Brooks Assembly of God Church and a retired licensed insurance agent with National Security Life Insurance Company. He loved Alabama football, enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved visiting with his insurance customers from all his years in sales.
