Mr. Jesse Henry Davis, 84, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020 at his East Brewton residence.

Mr. Davis was born in Covington County, and had been a resident of the Brewton/East Brewton area for over forty years. During his working years he was a lumber grader for T.R. Miller Mill Company, and was a member of the National Guard. Mr. Davis was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Viler Ree Davis of East Brewton; four sons, Jackie Jerome Davis of East Brewton, James Mack Smith of Florala, George Harvey (Becky) Smith of Andalusia, and Douglas Keith Smith of East Brewton; one daughter, Pamela Sue Durham of East Brewton; a brother, Jackie (Mary Jo) Davis; grandson, Billy Dale Queen of Cullman; great-grandchildren, Troyce Queen, Liam Queen, and Rebecca Jolene Queen, Pamela Mary Grace Queen; great-great-grandchildren, Shakota Queen, Noelle Durham, Alyssa Queen, and Penny Nora Sapp.

Graveside funeral services were held Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Damascus Cemetery in Florala with Bro. Jackie Davis officiating.

Craver’s Funeral Home of Brewton was in charge of arrangements.
