Mr. Keith L. McGowin, 66, of Ridge Road in Brewton, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at his residence. He was a native of Mobile, a former resident of Meridian, Miss., and a long time resident of Brewton.

Mr. McGowin was of the Baptist faith, and was retired from the Power House at Georgia Pacific with 45 years of service. He was an avid Alabama Fan, and enjoyed westerns, reading, hunting, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Debi Minchew McGowin of Brewton; one daughter, Kristi McGowin (Joe) Gomez of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Kenneth McGowin of Meridian, Miss., and Ronald McGowin of Meridian, Miss.; two sisters, Lynn Gentry of Prattville, and Theresa Partridge of Connellsville, Penn.; a son-in-law, Chris McLelland of Brewton; his father-in-law, Caylor (Elizabeth) Minchew of Brrewton; six grandchildren, Madelyn Johnson, Gavin Johnson, Rayni McLelland, Cassandra Gomez, Justine Gomez and Joseph Gomez.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tami McGowin McLelland; a sister, Kim McGowin; and a brother, David Thrash.

Visitation was held Friday, November 6, 2020 from noon until 2:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Elder Rusty Andrews officiating. Interment followed in Ridge Road Baptist Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
