Mr. Robert Earl Green was born February 19, 1950 in Pollard, Alabama to the late Murphy Dixon and Rosie Mae Green.
Robert was educated in the Escambia County School System. He graduated with the class of 1968 at Southern Normal School. He confessed Christ at an early age and united with Fannie Baptist Church in Flomaton. Years later he united with Mount Zion A.M.E. Church of Brewton. On November 2, 1984 he wed the late Hazel L. Wallace Green. With this union came Margaret and Catherine Green.
He departed this life on November 21, 2020 at D.W. McMillan Hospital in Brewton. Precious memories he leaves with his children, Catherine Green, Margaret Green, Kasey Miller, Monica Green and T.J. Johnson.
Brother Robert Earl Green leaves to celebrate his memories four daughters, Margaret Green, Catherine Green, both of Brewton, Kasey Miller of Summerdale, and Monica Green of Baldwin County; one son, T.J. Johnson of Brewton; brother, Calvin Matthews of Brewton; two sisters, Louise Miller and Sonia (Ronnie) Grace, both of Brewton; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one aunt, Sophronia Quinley and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service for Mr. Robert Earl Green was held Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Fannie Baptist Church Cemetery on Hollywood Road in Flomaton with the Reverend W. E. Coleman, Pastor, and the Reverend Paul Lee, officiating. Committal of Mr. Robert Earl Green immediately followed there at Fannie Baptist Church Cemetery.
Professional care and final arrangements were entrusted to Presley-Fluker Funeral Directors of Evergreen and Brewton.
