Betty Jo Rowell Hoomes Graves
Mrs. Betty Jo Rowell Hoomes Graves, 81,of West McLellan Street in Brewton, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospice facility after a brief illness.
She was a native and life long resident of Brewton. Mrs. Graves was of the Baptist faith, a 1959 graduate of T.R. Miller High School, and a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Danny (Melissa) Hoomes of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Tammy (Mark) Ward of Brewton, and Anita (Paul Mayer) Weaver of Brewton; nine grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Miles Green and Mittie Bell Massingill Rowell; brothers, Johnny Rowell and Buddy Rowell; and a sister, Sally Rowell Ball.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Lollie officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery in Brewton.
