Mr. Samuel Matthew Mosley Jr., 62, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Jewel Mosley; 10 children, Lensa (Carey) Crossford of Olive Branch, Miss., Steven (Brenda) Lane and Andrea Lane, both of Brewton, Saglinda Harris of New Port News, Va.., Marcus (Raphael) Redmond of Mobile, Marcia Mills of Jacksonville, Fla., Angela Tucker of Moss Point, Miss., Andria “Boot” Pedgett of Gautier, Miss., Stephanie Thomas of Pascagoula, Miss., and Samuel Mosley III of Century, Fla.; six brothers and sisters, Pastor Mary (Albert) Dees of Evergreen (Nymph community), Amy Lane of Brewton, Delia (James) Thomas of Troy, Arcola Mosley of Pensacola, Fla., Willie Mosley of Pascagoula, Miss., and James Mosley of Troy; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at Presley-Fluker Chapel with the Rev. Robert McWilliams officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
