East-West game to be played Saturday

Five baseball players from T.R. Miller and four from W.S. Neal have been selected to play in the Brewton Lion's Club East and West All-Star game on Saturday at Jefferson Davis Community College field in Brewton.
The game will be played as a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at noon.
James Hamric, Derek Busby, Will Waters, Chris Griffin, and Corey Williams have been selected from the Tigers to play on the East team.
From W.S. Neal, William Shell, Jake Cannon and Tyler Cross have been selected to play on the East team.
Tyler Nall from W.S. Neal has been selected to play on the West team.
Hamric was 2-5 on the mound for the Tigers with a 2.89 ERA. Hamric had 54 strikeouts in 43 innings according to a press release received on Monday.
Busby was 1-3 with a 3.41 ERA and 47 strikeouts in 39 innings. Waters batted .289 with seven RBIs and one homerun as Griffin batted .279 and Williams batted .324 with 10 RBIs.
Shell pitched for the Eagles and had a 9-2 record with a 1.41 ERA and 105 strikeouts while batting .373 with 14 RBIs and two homeruns.
Cannon batted .321 with 19 RBIs and two homeruns, as Cross had a .318 average and five RBIs.
Nall had a .323 average and 23 RBIs with four homeruns.
Also playing in the game are players from Robertsdale, Daphne, Florala, Red Level, Andalusia and Spanish Fort on the East team with Kevin Raley from Robertsdale and Joe Hutchins from Daphne coaching.
For the West team, Baldwin County, Foley, Fairhope, Flomaton, Spanish Fort, Gulf Shores, and Andalusia will be represented with Peter Bezeredt from Baldwin County and Stan Gooden from Andalusia coaching.
