Castleberry
Mrs. Helen M. Salter, 78, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, in an Evergreen nursing facility. She was a native of Castleberry and a resident of San Jose, Calif., prior to returning to Castleberry 25 years ago. She was a member of Living Waters Ministry in Castleberry.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Ann Brown of Newnan, Ga.; a brother, Travis Baggett of Atmore; six grandchildren, Dennis Bullard, Brenton Bullard, Kalla Lane, Randy Brown, Lynn Smith, and Mike Brown; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 18, at 10 a.m. at Living Waters Ministry with the Rev. Byrnes Pitts officiating. Burial followed at Buffington Cemetery in Castleberry with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Jason Gresham, James Barnes, John Kelley, Dalton Smith, James Pope, and Russell Smith.
