Mr. Narvel Spencer White, 62, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, in Flomaton. He was a native of Pensacola, Fla., and had been a resident of Flomaton for the past 37 years. He owned and operated Spencer's Motors (formerly W &W Motors) and New Fireworks. He was an honorary member of the NRCC, Presidential Task Force out of Washington, D.C. He was a member of First Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ of Flomaton and a past member of Pace Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Narvel and Dorothy White and Big Jack and Essie Cooley; and a niece.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Cooley White; his sister, Pat (John) Connell and Jenette (Jim) Reynolds; a brother, Steve (Linda) White; special in-laws and an uncle who were like brothers and sisters; Freddie (Darlene) White, Opal Dyoboski, Bill Cooley, his caregiver brother, Jackie (Beverly) Cooley, Mary (Chester) Carter, Debra (Richard) Lagos, foster son, Tony Gainey; a stepbrother, Donnie (Sheila) Fischer and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 7, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North in Cantonment with Pastor Jim Colley officiating. Burial will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens with Faith Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Brantley, Dan Lambeth, Ronnie Dove, Teddy Lambeth, Terry Powell and Ray Thomas.
