State Sen. Pat Lindsey, D-Butler, who represented Escambia County in the state Legislature, has died at 72.
Lindsey was found dead Sunday morning while on a hunting trip with other lawmakers including state Sen. Roger Bedford, D-Russellville.
State Rep. Alan Baker, R-Brewton, said funeral arrangements were pending.
Lindsey was a graduate of the University of Alabama and a member of the Alabama and American Bar Association.
