Mr. James Harvey Grice, 58, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native and life long resident of Brewton. He was a member of Dogwood Hills Assembly of God Church, a 1970 graduate of W.S. Neal High School, and retired from Nyco Security. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Collins Grice; his daughter, April Grice; and his parents, Harvey and Johnnie Ruth Grice.
He is survived by a sister, Barbara Ann (Jerry) Williams of Milton, Fla.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 12 until 1 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 1 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Quick, the Rev. Jeff Scurlock, and the Rev. Don Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Cemetery with Wiilliams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
