Mrs. Josephine Eileen Norsworthy, 91, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at her Theodore residence.

She was a native of Canoe and had been a resident of Brewton for a number of years prior to moving to Theodore one year ago.  She was a registered nurse for a number of years, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Tillman’s Corner.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Norsworthy.

She is survived by two step-sons, Douglas Norsworthy and Dan (Cyndi) Norsworthy, both of Brewton; two step-daughters, Freida (William) Blanton of Theodore, and Joanna Norsworthy (Randal) Donald of Mobile; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 13, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Fitts and the Rev. Mark Griffin officiating.  Burial followed in Weaver Cemetery.
