The East Brewton City Council members met Monday, June 28, 2004 for their regular meeting.
Mayor Terry Clark signed the notice of election and there was a discussion about progress being made on the Little League park on Williamson Street. Due to the rain Mayor Clark says the work has been halted. He said the mud was so deep that the work has had to be suspended for the time being.
The rainy weather has also caused some drainage problems that will be addressed as soon as they have been assessed.
In other business the council discussed street lights that are not working and a missing city sign on Hwy. 29. It was determined that the lights would be flagged at night and replaced.
