Mrs. Nora M. Johnson, 72, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2004. She was a resident of Flomaton and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jamie Cofield, and son-in-law, Charles Boutwell.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Donald Johnson Sr. of Flomaton; sons, Jimmy Cofield and Donald Cofield, both of Flomaton, and Donald Johnson Jr. of Iuka, Ill.; daughters, Penny Boutwell of Flomaton and Frances Walston of Milton, Fla.; brothers, Jimmy Freeman of Birmingham and George Palmer Jr. of Jay, Fla.; sisters, Willow Elizabeth Williams of Jay; Eula May Deerborn of Robertsdale, Mamie Joe Jones of North Carolina and Nancy Neal of Flomaton; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. at Jay Funeral Home with Brother Wallace Reid officiating. Burial followed at McCurdy Cemetery with Jay Funeral Home directing.
