Mrs. Doris Edna Joachim Byham, 79, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, at a Hoover health care facility after an extended illness. She was a native and former resident of Wabash County, Ill., and a long-time resident of Brewton before moving to Pelham seven years ago. She was a retired office manager of the automotive sales industry and was a member of North Brewton Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Stuart Ray Byham of Raleigh and Jay Howard Byham of Huntsville; one daughter, Barbara Jo Styles of Pelham; one brother, Leland Joachim of Castroville, Calif., and two grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m. at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jay Howard Byham officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
