Mrs. Frances Allen Wallace Day, 52, of Thomas Road, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, in a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County, Ala. She was a member of Ridge Road Baptist Church, a W.S. Neal graduate of 1970 and was formerly a sporting goods manager for K-Mart in Brewton.
She is survived by her mother, Roshell Wallace of Brewton; her husband, Sammy Day of Brewton; two daughters, Michele Day Ward and Wendy Day, both of Brewton; one brother, Robert Wallace of Brewton; two sisters, Linda Wallace White of Brewton and Gail Wallace Tapole of Merritt Island, Fla., and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Bounds officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery on Hwy. 29 with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
