Mrs. Jamie Boyd Hamilton Barrow, 77, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, in Cincinnati. She was a native of Brewton and had been a resident of Cincinnati for a number of years. She was a member of the Herb Society of America for 35 years, serving on the board for 14 years and as vice president from 1990 until 1992 and as president from 1992 until 1994.
She was the wife of Dr. James H. Barrow of Cincinnati; the mother of James (Wendy) Barrow of Cincinnati; sister of Peter (Jan) Hamilton of Palm Beach Garden, Fla., and Anne (Herschel) Abbot of Washington, D.C., and grandmother of two.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 15, from 2 to 3:45 p.m. at Craver's Funeral Home followed by graveside services at Union Cemetery at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Baldwin officiating.
