Ms. Wanda Lou Lael, 46, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005. She was a native and longtime resident of Brewton and a former resident of Pensacola, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie N. and Mary Raines.
She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Steele and Daphne Baggett; four sisters, Jean (Alex) Miller, Elaine Redmond, Betty (Ed) Colburn and Doris (Ray) Madden; three brothers, Billy Ray (Barbara) Massey, Terry (Ora) Raines and Tommy (Laura) Raines; three grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 4, at Faith Chapel North-Cantonment with the Rev. Merle Peterson officiating. Burial followed at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Faith Chapel Funeral Home North directing.
