Mr. Marion F. "Buddy" Anthony, 66, died Sunday, April 3, 2005, at his residence. He was a native of Evergreen and a long time resident of Brewton. He worked for a number of years at Ezell Standard Oil Service Station. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Vene House and Mamie Lou Weaver, and three brothers, Cecil Anthony, Jim Anthony and John Anthony.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle Anthony of Brewton; five sons, Mickey (Saundra) Anthony, Nathaniel (Darlene) Anthony, Blake Anthony and Ricky Anthony, all of Brewton, and Steve (Lisa) Anthony of Castleberry; one daughter, Angela Jaro of Brewton; two brothers, William Anthony of Pensacola, Fla., and Robert Anthony of Brewton; two sisters, Bonnie Hoomes of Pensacola and Billie Jean Rooney of San Antonio, Texas, and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, April 6, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Joyner, the Rev. Herman Smith and the Rev. Verna Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
