Mrs. Becky Strickland Casey, 83, of the Appleton community, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at a local hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Mobile and a long time resident of Brewton. She was a member of Appleton Free Will Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, John Casey, James Casey and Ray Casey, all of Brewton; three daughters, Minnie Pearl Casey, Ann Marshall and Linda Nolen, all of Brewton; 10 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 14, at 2 p.m. at Appleton Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Grady Palmer, the Rev. Ronald Hall and the Rev. Robert Craig officiating. Burial followed at Excel Cemetery in Excel with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
