Mrs. Hazel Ruth Henry, 88, of Sue Street in Flomaton, died Thursday Jan. 12, 2006, at a Jay hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Dyas and a longtime resident of Flomaton. She was a retired cook and a member of the Hall's Fork Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Pete) Merchant of East Brewton; a brother, Otis Stewart of Perdido; a sister, Leola Smith of Bay Minette; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and two great, great granchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Scurlock officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
